Little Brown Bats
(Mytosis lucifugus)

The little brown bat (Mytosis lucifugus) is the smallest of the mouse-eared bats species, all belonging to the genus Mytois. Little brown bats are often found roosting in houses and seen darting over head at dusk in neighborhoods across Canada and most of the United States. Little brown bats feed on aquatic insects, such as mosquitoes, and are capable of catching as many as 600 in one hour!
